Intelligent Entertainment is a leading company in creating quality indoor entertainment projects, such as escape rooms, mini golf courses and themed adventure games.

Mostly known in Greece through its owned escape room network “The MindTrap”, the company has been intensely working with European clients and exporting its products.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience operating CNC routers and/or CNC lasers, as well as equal experience with the ArtCam software.

Job Description

In this role, the Machine Operator will be responsible for operating our CNC Router, CNC Laser, and occasionally our UV Printer to produce precision parts and products. This includes programming, setting up, and monitoring the machines, as well as performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.

We are looking for a candidate who is highly detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced production environment. The candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills, be comfortable working with computer-controlled equipment, and have a strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience in the construction industry in general. The candidate should also be comfortable with using power tools in wood and have a good experience in various woodworking techniques.

Duties

  • Programming and setting up CNC routers and CNC Laser Machines to produce precision parts and products according to specifications.
  • Monitoring the production process and making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the CNC routers and CNC Laser Machines as needed.
  • Setting up and programming the UV printer to produce high-quality prints on various materials.
  • Preparing print files for print and adjusting print settings as necessary to ensure quality.
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the UV printer as needed.
  • Monitoring the machines’ processes and making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Keeping accurate records of machines production data, such as quantities and cycle times.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Communicating with other members of the production team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Quality control of cut and printed products, ensuring they meet desired specifications.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions to determine the correct set-up and operation of the machines.
  • Measuring finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
  • Using power tools and performing wood construction techniques, such as sanding, staining, and finishing wooden products to achieve the desired look and feel on the company products.
  • Load and unload materials, adjust focal lengths and change out nozzles as needed.
  • Understanding of safety procedures, including working with hazardous materials and wearing protective gear.
  • Handling, storing and disposing hazardous materials and debris.
  • Maintaining the machines and its accessories, such as mirrors, lenses, inks and nozzles, to ensure their optimal performance.

Requirements & Skills

  • Proficient in setting up, programming and using CNC routers and CNC Lasers to produce precision parts and products.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions.
  • Experience using industrial UV Printers such as Anapurna, along with Asanti software, will be highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong math skills, including the ability to work with measurements and calculations.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow them correctly.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software, ArtCAM in particular.
  • Experience with woodworking techniques and carpentry will be greatly taken into account.
  • Understanding of safety procedures, including working with hazardous materials and wearing protective gear.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • An owned transport vehicle would be considered an asset, as the company is located at the industrial area of Diavata, approximately 15 km away from the Center of Thessaloniki.
